First off, I’m not a conservative, I’m independent/left leaning. That said, every comment thread on Reddit feels like it’s completely one sided in favor of a liberal perspective. Not just that, but the amount of blatant misinterpretation and misrepresentation in the comments is apparent on nearly every issue. Comments that don’t comply are downvoted into oblivion and removed from the conversation. I feel like Reddit is almost becoming unusable at this point. Where can I go (on or off Reddit) to get a more balanced perspective? I do like Reddits user interface.

Edit: Whew! This blew up more than I anticipated. I did receive some genuinely insightful and helpful comments. I appreciate those! Lots of folks either saying I’m the issue because of my liberal leaning algorithm or that I’m the issue because I’m actually a bleeding conservative in disguise. Can’t have it both ways! Anyway thanks Reddit. Will probably think twice about doing this again.

To be honest CS2 is in a state where its far superior than CS:GO Gameplay whise. Sure CS:GO had more content but that doesnt mean CS:GO is the better game.

Valve "released" CS:GO now because they are confident that CS2 is just the better game. Do you honestly think they would if it wasnt the case?

Were they criminals or did they molested a women by throwing water or colors? Where was the Bajrang dal? Were the criminals house burned too? Did the police made all the arrest? Did they got any Justice? Did the Religions their criminals belonged to blamed too? Did anyone made any protests?

The accused will be roaming freely, maybe will join a Political Party, will be inaugurated celebrated even and the victims and their families will never be able to get justice.

Resident Evil 4 OG had a unique gunplay style even when it was new. It's the tank controls of the classic RE trilogy masterfully combined with over-the-shoulder arcade action. I admit this combat feels a bit odd at first, but once I got used to it, it's some of the best feeling 3rd person shooter combat of all time.

As for Resident Evil 4 Remake, it's still a good game, but it's gunplay feels very generic like GTA, Fortnite, or Last of Us, but a bit more sluggish. It's still fun, but it's gunplay is just not as satisfying or tense as RE4OG. Reason why most newcomers instantly dismiss OG4 as outdated and clunky cuz they aren't used to any shooters being even slightly different than the norm, and will have zero patience to attempt to get used to any shooter different feeling than their typical Fortnite, GTA, or Last of Us.

Ashley is also way better and funner to defend in OG4, she actually obeys, ducks when you aim her way, and it's one of the first times ever a game made escort missions fun. While RE4R Ashley is way more unpredictable, wanders off, and annoying. Her screams are less annoying, but that's not about gameplay.

RE4R also removes some classic areas like Lava Room, Statue room, Cargo falling boss, etc. but I will say Remake improves Luis and Ashley as characters, but that has nothing to do with gameplay.

But if you like Resident Evil 4 Remake more, that's fine. I'm okay with all opinions, but to dismiss others for preferring RE4OG as just "blinded by nostalgia" is an objectively ignorant statement. There's lots of older games I think suck and don't hold up, but Resident Evil 4 OG isn't one of those. Not all old games are only liked cuz nostalgia. It's not like all games magically stopped sucking at 2010 and on, it's not smart to think like that.

As usual. Oh dough uses a situation which is bad for everyone and pins it on the devs not being transparent in balancing decisions? How does x lead to y exactly? Oh, it must be that people just go so feral because Arrowhead DARES to design a helldivers game like... A helldivers game? Jesus this guy is just rooting for the games downfall at this point.

Metroidvania has always been my favorite genre, but I just can't enjoy it as much as I did before Hollow Knight. Because of that game and the massive success it achieved, most indie and Metroidvania developers are now shoving Soulslike mechanics into their games just to chase that same success.

The problem is, Soulslike is my absolute least favorite genre. I hate losing what I’ve spent hours grinding for, and I absolutely despise doing the "walk of shame" (boss runbacks) over and over again every time I die. I really wish developers would stop mixing the best genre with the worst one.

Suv shouldn’t even be a thing; the whole suv market is some loophole in regulations; that manufacturers propagandize buyers into believing they need a honker of a vehicle, and they cause more deaths in accident with pedestrian and other cars.

Also they have an increase of roll overs, they aren’t even better in snowy or rain conditions, even if its all wheel drive your center of gravity is higher and no-traction doesn’t care about whether you have. 4x4 or AWD capabilities

They killed wagons, you can basically haul kids in a wagon or van and have less risk of roll overs or killing pedestrians.

Big car into small car only matters if big cars take over and thats why cars keep getting bigger and bigger it doesn’t make it safer.

Suvs are also classified as non passenger vehicles.
